Camping with a 2yo and pregnant

Hiya, my dad has just rung and asked if me and dd would like to go camping at the weekend with my parents and thier trailer tent. Not counting festivals, I've not been camping for about ten years, since I was a teenager! It's a pretty basic campsite, just a couple of fields on a farm (If it's the same as last time I went, there's a toilet block and a tap to fill up your water bottle and that's it) but the tent has pretty much anything you could ever want in it. My MS is still pretty bad, will the fresh air make it worse or better? Anyway, any tips?

MS -worse. I mean pig smell...Oh no.
Thats enough to make you heave.

Will you be comfortable in sleeping in the tent?

You may want to take disinfectant with you for toilets etc...just becuase you dont wanna be catching nothing while preggers.

How many weeks are you?

11, and I've never caught anything from a toilet previously, so I'm not worried now touches wood]

It's a trailer tent, so I'll be sleeping on a mattress, so I should be ok. I will be sharing with dd though, who is a wriggler, so not sure how much sleep I'll get!

God, it sounds like sheer hell
Stay home.

You dont sound too anti camping, so I reckon you actually want to go

Its not like your bellies big enough to get in your way, so go...

Take some ginger buscuits with you to help with the sickness.

chellesgirl LOL, ginger biscuits! what would I give for them to work?! I haven't yet found a cure for MS, and I had it all through my first pregnancy too. I'll just try and make sure I make it out of the tent beofre throwing up, or take a bucket with me

moondog lighten up! It'll be a good laugh!

My DP is agog that I said I will use our own chemical toilet in the tent during the night rather than go all the way to the toilet block. Why on earth not? If anything, it'll be less germy than the toilet block!

Have some fun lissy...you sound like you have it bad...are you sure the smell of cow dung wont make you want to sick up all the time...[barfing face/wrenching tummy emotion]

i hope you have a good time if you decide to go.
