sleeping bags for the VERY tall?

DH is 6 foot 6 inches.
the adult mummy style sleeping bag he had last year came barely up to his chest.
This year he wants to sleep in comfort.
Been to a couple of local camping shops they all say extra long bags are a special order and mega bucks.

Where can i get an extra long sleeping bag for around £40/50?

Declathlon do long and extra long. Not sure on their length sizes though.

We have the same trouble in our family, but found that in argos they show the length. So, for example, this one is 210 cm all-in which is much more respectable than their 190cm option.

They're deffo available, DH is 6ft7 and he got a nice two season one for roughly that price. Unfortunately I've just asked him and he can't remember where he got it or what make it is. Was certainly off the shelf though, not on line. Sorry to be less help.

Dh has a coleman one which he loves - not special order - off the shelf in go outdoors about £40 we think. He's 6ft 5. It's a square type one and is plenty big enough.

DH has used an Ajungilak sleeping bag for years, which state max person length of 195cm which is practically 6ft6 I think. Literally he has slept hundreds of nights in it so it must be OK.

How about this Vango at 215 cm? That's got to be long enough and in your budget.

Vango do some with XL in the title, they're also wider but definitely longer - 230cm, did a search on the link above for vango xl which came up with a few options.

We're both tall and it's hideous trying to sleep in a too short bag, I| agree re the thread blithedance, don't get me started on pushchairs and backache!
