Airbeds - best way to layer for warmth?

Sorry, can't find the threads that mention this.

I have fleece blankets, foam camping mats and foil blankets along with thick sleeping bags.

From groundsheet up how would you layer these things under the bed?

Personally, I just put a foam camping mat on top of the airbed. That does the trick perfectly for me, but not ideal for a small child as mine tended to wiggle so much that the mat ends up in different direction to airbed and child.

Most other people put whatever insulation you have under the airbed.

You put foam camping mat under airbed, foil blanket between airbed and sleeping bag and fleece blankets on top.
