Camping in France for 2-3 nights - somewhere you can rent tents?

We're driving down to Spain through France and thought it'd be nice to stop 2 or 3 nights on the way but don't want to take all our camping gear just for 3 nights. Is there somewhere that you can stay in a tent with all the equipment there, or I guess a mobile home although I don't know if they rent these for just 2 or 3 nights in July.

Any recommendations? We'd probably want somewhere towards Charente-Maritime so that it's half way.

Can't say on location but check out Eurocamp. We have holidayed with them several times. :Lots of sites in France - tents or mobile homes or chalets - can stay as long - or short - as you like.

Thanks Dysqu. I checked out Eurocamp yesterday but minimum booking was 3 nights and worked out at over £600! I thought it'd be a lot cheaper for camping. I wonder if smaller campsites rent out tents or mobile homes. I'm not really sure how to search for other campsites.

Decide where you want to stay and then google campsites in that area. Try other UK operators as well as booking direct with foreign ones. Should be cheaper.
