Cambridge folk festival - kid friendly?

Camping virgins - we are going to take our 5 and 7 boys to the Cambridge folk festival. Is it really kid friendly?

Have decided on a Outwell Colorado 5, doing this and then heading up to lake district for three days.

Yes, it is very kid friendly.

Good luck with getting tickets though

Yes, it is very child friendly; the website advises you to use the Coldhams Common site if you have kids, but we never do. We camp at the main site (Cherry Hinton) which is where all the music is. It also has a playground and a paddling pool which is very nice, and a childrens' entertainement area which yours are the right age for. There is a lot of food choice and the site is very clean and safe.

The loos are all proper flushing loos and are clean. The portable showers are useless but there is a free bus to proper showers at a nearby school.

We usually get the free bus to the morning kids' entertainment at Coldhams Common and then spend the rest of the day at Cherry Hinton.

When I went (pre dc's) it looked wonderful for kids. They were all running about Cherry Hinton looking grubby and bohemian and blissfully happy. too enjoy!
