In North Wales?

Out of interest?

Would this be foolishness?

Thoughts please...

We're going - in South Wales though.

Ds's are 3.5 and 10 months. I can't wait!

Fennel · 09/04/2009 20:10

Yes, we often have. Depending on the weather forecast. North wales is very varied though - the middle of Snowdonia is more bracing than the coast in bad weather.

Fillyjonk · 09/04/2009 20:14

I like your use of the word "bracing" fennel, I must remember that one.

chocolatey-where in south wales? (pure nosiness as live in the south).

We're heading to the Gower I think.

We're in The Vale of Glamorgan. Where abouts are you?

Thrifty · 09/04/2009 20:35

god, are we making a mistake? the car is packed,we leave in the morning for our first family camping trip! (only going to forest of dean though)

IwishIwasmorechocolatey · 09/04/2009 20:37

Not at all!

We'd be going too if we didn't have to do family stuff this weekend.

Have fun!

EachPAQUESPearMum · 09/04/2009 20:39

ooh- gower is lovely!

sandyballs · 09/04/2009 20:43

Jeez, I don't camp until at least the late May bank hols and only then if the forecast is good.

nannyL · 09/04/2009 22:05

yes

im also going tomorrow!

MumHadEnough · 09/04/2009 22:06

No chance, you won't get us out anywhere until at least early June. But then again we are in Scotland!

Fillyjonk · 10/04/2009 08:42

Cardiff, chocolatey. Where are you off to in South Wales then?

Well it does appear that this may be a cold option, but I do have a big list to keep me warm now from nannyL...

Have been at easter

MegBusset · 10/04/2009 08:56

Yes -- pre-DC we used to go to the Lakes in the first week of May.

drinkmoretea · 10/04/2009 09:13

We normally go at easter....

IwishIwasmorechocolatey · 10/04/2009 21:52

Think we're going to try Port Eynon next Bank Holiday

mrsmalumbas · 14/04/2009 20:48

Well I amn trying to persuade a friend to go with the kids in the May half term, she is saying it will be too cold but I am thinking that if we wrap up warm it should be okay - the weather in the UK is so unpredictable anyway...
