bloody weather forecast. anyone else mad enough to go camping (campervan) with rain looming??

we shouldve gone earlier i the week but the campervan wasnt ready. now the weather looks like its goin toturn in time for the weekend.

am mad to condsider going? admittedly not as bad as beingi wet tent, but all tha tmud....

what kind of site are going to? will there be any indoor places you can take the DC's?

we haven booked yet, buti was looking at nasty holiday villagey places for that very reason. then i realised how mch they cost- £30 a night over easter- and thought that maybe an electric hookup night be adequate in terms of facilties

We always go to holiday villagey types of places,even though it has always been just me and DP, it is expensive but we always need a back-up option in case it rains! Whereabout where you thinking of going?

we've picked a site (North Devon) where you don't need to pre book, I think we're going to go rain or shine as the kids will lynch us otherwise...

not great forecast. supposedly. but then this week theyve got it all wrong! this is our first spring trip in newish van. we are taking a plug in oil filled radiator

then again its been supposed to rain all week, so if its the same for the rain this weekend then great!
