Camping with 2 young children - where do you all sleep?

We have a 3.5 year old and a 10 month old.

Our tent is a vango diablo 600. There are 2 bedrooms measuring 2.1m - 2.3m

DS1 sleeps well but likes to see me as soon as he wakes up. He will sleep on a ready bed with an extra sleeping bag. DS2 wakes up before ds1 so would need quietening before he wakes ds1! I've not figured out what he'll be sleeping in yet

DH snores and needs freqent nudging to keep it bearable! We share a double airbed.

I'd like to all sleep in one bedroom, but they're just not big enough. How do similar families sleep when they're camping?

We have a diablo. You can just sleep in the middle section, all or some of you.

Generally I sleep in the middle section, 2 dds in one bedroom, dd3 and dp in the 3rd. but we do all keep moving round, sometimes it's me and DP in the middle together. It's quite flexible.

DH has just suggested that.

It doesn't get cold by yourself in the middle does it?

I can see maybe the boys in one room, us sleeping in the middle and all the "stuff" in the other room!

No, the middle section is snug and cosy. Ours is a 400 not a 600 which might make it a bit snugger but they're basically the same tent. We often leave the bedroom doors open and more or less all sleep in a row.

We find the tent pretty versatile really for the 5 of us. Every year we have a slightly different sleeping arrangement as the dds get older.

We sleep dh and dd1 in one compartment, me and dd2 in the other.
