DH has hired a campervan for next week! Where should we go?

So DH was going to sort out hiring a camping pod for a few nights but has blown the budget and hired a campervan! We are picking it up from Leicester and don't want to drive for more than a couple of hours - any ideas? Am thinking about the Peak District or pushing on a bit towards Norfolk perhaps? Or perhaps towards Warwickshire? We usually go to the Dales or the North Yorks coast so don't really know the area south of us ( Yorkshire)

Lucky you! I'm dead jealous. DH is scared of caravans but would expect me to sleep on hard groud with creepy crawlies. (albeit in a tent)
As for where to go? I'd park it outside the house for all to see! Useful post eh?

how old are your dc? This is something i would love to do.... i would park it on front too and hide from the kids in it

North Norfolk coast? See if you can park at Wells next the Sea. Then enjoy the beach there. And at Holkham.

That's where we ended up SamJamsmum! We camped at Pinewoods which was great and just a few minutes walk down to the beautiful beach. It was fab and we are now hooked on buying our own camper!
