Static caravan recommendations North Yorkshire and further afield

Hi All,

I'm just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for static caravan hire in North Yorkshire - Whitby/Scarborough type areas (or further afield - Northumbria perhaps).

We're looking for a weeks holiday beginning of september with a 4 month old. We like small campsites (we usually camp in our tent on small farm type sites, but we fancy a bit more 'luxury' and warmth with a 4 month old for a week!), and definitely don't like large commercial sites.

Hope someone can point me in a good direction!!

Ord house Country park in northumberland is an award winning site. It is very near the lovely historic town of Berwick and 1 mile from scottish borders. Not a commercial haven type site at all. Loads to do nearby-it is a beautiful part of the country and a lovely site. Can not do links but just google it and you will find all the info you need.

we stayed here during Oct half term. very cosy and friendly place, just outside WHitby. Very reasonably priced.
