is anyone else going camping at Easter or are we completely bonkers?

We were thinking it was a bit early (and cold); but if others are planning on camping over Easter, I'm sure we'll jump on the bandwagon

We might do, depending on whether I'm working or not and depending on the weather.

I have happy memories from my childhood in the US of going on camping trips in November in the mountains, so my interpretation of 'cold' and 'inappropriate weather' is a little skewed (according to DH).

Just don't want to have a bad time and put everyone off going again.

I have ended up in awnings and tents a few times in the Easter holidays and its always been freezing with frost or snow most times, this was north of the border.

we're seeing what the weather is like and deciding from there. If we do go it will probably be scotts farm at witterings (if they are open)

am soooo looking forward to getting outdoors with the dses!! Hope they love it as much as I do.

We did last year, I loved it. We went to Tenby, the only tent on the site.

We are going for the week before Easter for 5 days. Am looking forward to it - we have 4 season sleeping bags, thermals and hats. If its going to be very cold or windy we will take our small tent but if it looks to be ok we'll take the big tent.
