How do you get from Marco Polo airport to Cavallino-Treporti?

Just booked holiday at Eurocamp in Cavallino-Treporti and have also booked flights to Marco-Polo airport. Don't want to pay squillions for car hire or Eurocamp transfer to site. Anyone know how easy it is to do this trip on public transport? Travelling with 3dc aged 5,3 and 1.

Public transport dead easy!! The buses are right outside he airport terminal, are clean coaches and they run on time!!! Driver wioll also put your luggage in the boot and take it out for you. Think it's ATVO - www.atvo.it but they might not have timetabels up yet for when you're going. You need to buy tickets in the airport IIRC then stamp them with the machine as you go in the bus. They will all shout out helpfully if you get it wrong!!! Email your campiste to find out where nearest bus stop is though I found that if the front of the campiste was along the main road there was usually a buss tsop nearby!! The area is fab! We went to Eraclea mare last year and going back this year!

We're going 14 - 28th August!!! Last year I booked a taxi transfer as I panicked at the last minute wondering how I would manage on my own with 2 kids! it cost 80 euros to get us up to eraclea mare so a transfer would be cheaper for you. (that company was by far and away the cheapest I could find - some were charging hundreds!) Think it was daytransfers.it but would need to check. They also provided car seats for us.

But the bus was only 3 euros each for me and ds dd (5) was free! Again your bus would be cheapest. You can't miss the buses tho - when you come out the luggage area you turn left for water taxis and water buses and go straight out into the main arrival/departure car park and the buses are right in front of you.
