Trigano/Cabanon/Raclet? - we need a BIG trailer tent

We are looking for a trailer tent and want one that offers a LOT of accommodation. we have twins already and may have another two kids so space in the awning, underbed tents and storage are important.

I have been looking at the Trigano Chantilly/Vendome, but wonder how easy it is to erect compared to the 'bendy pole' tents like the Raclet and Cabanon.

Anyone got any experience of these trailer tents?

Bumping for you as this will soon drop out of unanswered.

Aw, thanks! It is not in unanswered now!!! I have posted the question on UKcampsite forum as it is a rather specific question for MNers I think. Got one answer there, it seems the Trigano is quite easy to put up... will be going to see one on Saturday and hopefully they will show us exactly how it gets put up.

Thanks again for taking time to reply.

We have just bought a Trigano chenverny which is the old model of the chantilly, about 2003 I think, from camperlands. Looks great - can't wait to get it up. apparently it is a really good make, we chose it over the sunncamp - so fingers crossed! We saw the chantilly while there, it is absolutely fab, would love a brand new sparkling one but couldn't quite stretch, but v pleased with our cheverny - I think!! let us know how you get on.

We bought the Trigano Olympe in the end - slightly smaller than the Chantilly but very very easy to erect. DH could not resist when he saw who easy it went up. We have compromised on the space and it was £5,000 but it goes up in about 20 mins versus an hour for the Chantilly so will be better for weekend getaways. We pick it up in April and take it away for first time early may bank holiday .
