Ok, it's the 11th of Feb, we go camping on the 11th of July and today.....

I started my list.

But not just any old list, oh no, no more tatty written lists with extras all crammed round the edges. This year it is going to be typed and saved, so it can be amended for future trips, it will be know as 'The Mother List.

I am finding it very comforting, but it is already startlingly long.

Am I being a teeny weeny bit previous, or just stunningly organized?

But...this comes from a household where we have several lists saved on to the computer for packing purposes......

Such as:

Packing List: Hotel

Packing List: Mum and Dads

Packing LIst: BBO

(BBO: We are a military household (DH still, me previously) and BBO is an environmment where nothing is provided, so you have to bring EVERYTHING. In this case it refers to visiting childless friends in their lovely new cream household...!)

What does BBO stand for??

We aren't going til the 24 July so I have ages yet!

we have saved typed camping list, adapted to whether we are going to an electric or non electric pitch. Makes life so much easier!

It did start off as a list a friend emailed me when we were camping novices though.
