Has anyone been to La Sirene? (Milliways I know you have!) what's it like?

I can't decide between La Sirene and L'Hippocampe. We are taking our campervan and will be getting a pitch rather than booking a mobile home or tent.

We LOVE swimming, so always look for a really good pool complex.

DD is 5 and dsd is 13.

we when there about five years ago and we all loved it, great pool complex.

We stayed in a keycamp mobile home which was really nice.

I seem to remember the evening shows were very good, we also did horse riding and drove to spain for lunch one day.

there are loads of things to do and places to go, my lot loved it, would def go again.

have a feeling take la sirene and l'hippocampe are sister sites? can't remember

Did you drive? How long did it take you to get there? We're thinking of breaking the journey for a night en route.

We stopped overnight at Tours (we use the Novotel at Chambray les Tours so we can eat at the FLunch!)

The campsite is lovely. It is HUGE, and the pool is not as big as it looks in the photos but is very nice (got crowded in August)

The entertainment was brilliant. They have their own company that did Lion King, Grease, Bootleg Beetles etc etc - well worth watching with a pint in hand.

On site restaurant & takeaway had a large selection of good food too - much better than some other sites we have been to.

You have to drive (or take the mini train or courtesy bus) to the beach - but it is only 5 mins away , huge beach with great sand (but no huge waves that you like)

We would go again!
