South Meadows in Belford, near Bamburgh. Very friendly owner, toilet block is spotlessly clean (and has better toilet paper than I buy for home). Also has several family showers which are fabulous. Beach at Bamburgh fantastic, and near lots of other castles - Lindisfarne, Warkworth, Dunstanburgh. Also near Craster, if you like kippers .

Berwick is a beautiful historic town and East Ord campsite on the outskirts of Berwick is lovely with award winning toilets and showers.
