despite rain, rain and more rain! We enjoyed it and so did the kids. We also now have a list of things we need that we didn't have with us in preparation for next time. Will also definitely camp in the UK next time as it was such a long journey for a weekend and sooo expensive with the Euro being at 1.2!!!

glad you had a good time.
excuse the possibly completely dumb question but do you mean 1 euro = £1.20?

becks5109 · 27/08/2008 10:23

no I mean 1.20 Euro exchange rate so one euro would equal 80p - made everything seem very expensive for example we went out to lunch and just had one thing each and one drink each, no pudding or extras and it cost Euro 50 which is £40 seems alot for 2 adult meals and 2 little kiddy meals
