Anyone know if/where you can get spare tent poles from?

Snapped the elastic in one of our Eurohike Sandringham tent poles this weekend (fortunately when the tent was being taken down rather than being put up!) I can probably try to cobble something together with a new piece of elastic but wouldn't trust myself not to cock it up.

Had a look on google but couldn't see anything, in fact couldn't even find a Eurohike website. Will try contacting Millets where we got the tent, anyone got any other ideas?

You can buy them in store at Millets BUT I think you do have to re thread them yourself.
We had a Eurohike Grassmere which is about 4/5 yrs old but several of the poles splintered earlier this year in high winds.
Good luck with the re threading I couldn't face it and bought a new tent an Outwell Montana 6 with Steel poles, they are blardy heavy but tent is so solid in the wind.

You can get poles and elastic off ebay. We have managed to splinter 3 poles so far this year and that damaged the elastic!

There were loads in the skip at the campsite we stayed at a fortnight ago. About a third of the tents came down in strong winds one night and many people just abandoned them. So if you live near a camping area, investigating the skips after a storm might be an idea.
