given up on straighteners permanently esp when every time i go out the door it's blardy raining.

must have survived before straighteners, don't look that bad in old photos....

We've just got back from Portugal -I didn't take my straighteners and, do you know what, it was liberating!

Its not as though I even straighten it that much usually -I don't like the ironed hair look, I just like to take the waves out a bit.

DP said he preferred the tousled look too.

Mines always been dead straight. Curls are much more interesting and softer.

well mine has now not been wasjed since last thursday!!!! Just back from a long weekend without showers well one shower and 2 loos for 150 tents!!!

t my wedding recently one of the gents there commented how boring it was these\days with all women straightening their hair..he said it was lovely to see girls with wavy, curly, flicky or just plain natural hair....

must admit on hols i realised that sun, sea and sand made my hair look more interesting

hair was in pony tail and full of stay in conditioner.

In spain I didn't use my straigtners once. But somehow in holiday attire with sunkissed skin it works.

In my office with my trouser suit it would not.

My hair is hideous when I haven't attacked them with straightners.
Its only chin length so unstraightened it springs up around my ears and I look like maggie thatcher.

If its longer then chin length I get a wierd haze of unruley hair surrounding my head. Most of it lays flat/wavy the rest stands on end defying lows of gravity.

Live by the straightners die by the straigteners is my motto.

I'm gradually growing mine a bit longer. I went to the hairdressers last week and she asked how I was coping with it a bit longer, and I was completely flummoxed as I'd done nothing with it for the past 4 weeks because we'd been on holiday and it was always just 'wash and go'!

Quite bad but I usually tie it up.

If I let it dry naturally it bushes out on the bottom while sticking firmly down on the top and I look like a big triangle head.

Mine was terrible all weekend, barely saw a brusha nd realised when I looke din the mirror in the car on the way homethat it was the first mirror I had looked at for 4 days!
