First time with 2yr old and 4yr old: where's good in the South for 3 nights?

We're hoping to go for a few nights camping in a couple of weeks' time. As we're not kitted out we're ideally looking for pre-erected tents but think they're probably all booked up. If not, then a caravan would be good (especially given current weather).
Any suggestions as to where is good in the South, we're in Surrey and Cornwall is too far for a weekend unfortunately.
Thanks.

Have you looked here for a tipi? I haven't been but have seen them recommended in Cool Camping...

Thanks Surfette. Those tipis look great. I'm keeping the link for the future because yesterday I booked us a caravan at Shorefield near the New Forest. Looks a bit more holiday campy than we'd have liked but given the weather prospects it'll be good to have an indoor pool to pass the time! Can't wait to do 'proper' tent camping though.
