Please suggest some good areas to camp next week

We were planning to go to Swanage next week (hadn't booked anything though) but have now decided that it's probably not going to be beach weather and we may as well go somewhere else with different things to do inland.

We are in Somerset and don't want to travel too far, a couple of hours is fine.

Can anyone suggest good camping areas with lots of things nearby to do for dc aged 4 & 7?

haven holidays are good for kids, i stayed in caravan but i think you can camp there too

couple of hgours ftrom somerset- ok, well that sould be easy, was raised in Bridgwater!

sdouth wales? swansea, or one like pont kemys inland.

devon and dorset obviously, try charmouth?

or how about the new forest / forest of dean? if those appeal try the forest holidays website- actually, christchurch in the forest of dean is great
