Soooooo....... after the arrival of our 3rd dc I realised that holidays would just be um..... expensive.

So I thought it would be a really good idea to try camping as an inexpensive holiday option. Plus the boys think it's really exciting.

I didn't want to spend a fortune on a tent if it wasn't for us, so I got a cheapie one from Argos just to see how we get on. We've borrowed all the other bits we might need, then we can buy it if we decide to continue with camping.

Thing is I'm a bit concerned that if it rains we'll get wet.... the Hydrostatic head is 2000 and I'm worried it won't be enough if it rains.....

We're going away for a couple of days on Bank Holiday weekend.

Do you think our tent is up to the job?

SHould be. Our tent is 3000 and withstands very heavy rain over a period of a week although was dripping abit with condensation after the weeks rain. However sleeping areas were dry.
Should be fine.

There are lots of threads here on tips to make it easier.
