Camping with a TV......

If we wanted to get a TV for when we go camping (going to stay somewhere for a looonnngggg time to be near family this summer!) Do we need a special type of TV? What about arials and stuff?

Also, any recommendations for the electric coolbox things?

I would have thought the noise would have been a problem-will you be near other tents?
I would hate the thought that I might pitch my tent next to someone with a TV and be forced to hear the programme.

Nixz, sorry I can't help answer your Q as I'm new to this camping thing, but when we went camping recently the dc's watched dvd's a couple of nights and you couldn't hear them outside the tent at all. It's a shame you aren't going anymore. It baffles me how these thread go sometimes btw it's a TV fgs!

A camper would be fine-I was wondering how you could do it in a tent. Sorry you are not going-seemed a great way to spend the summer-as long as the sun shines!
