Can anyone recommend a kiddie friendly campsite in north wales, lake district?

That's a campsite with clean loo blocks and showers, flat pitches and ideally a playground, even more ideally near a beach or lake shore?! Thanks!

Gibraltor Farm, just on Silverdale beach, fabulous views over Morecambe Bay, just south of Lake District.

Cheap, £10, no need to book

Not particularly near a beach but excellent for all the family fantastic and clean toilets and showers and large flat pitches is The Plassey in Wrexham - google it I think you'll agree.

We've just come back from near Porthmadog www.eisteddfa.fsnet.co.uk/ - it was brill! Have very clean, new wetrooms and a small playground. Quiet at night which was a bonus. Fantastic views and 1 mile from a pebbley beach at Criccieth. The beach at Blackrock sands was about 10 mins drive though and STUNNING!! Highly recommended x

Thanks all! Now just need the prospect of a dry weekend to galvinise us into action and get all the much neglected pre-DC camping kit out of the cupboard!
