If you had one camping tip, what would it be?

Oh, just back form first trip of the year and feeling all campy.
My number one handy hint would be: except that you will fall out with dh when putting tent up, much to the amusement of those around you

Yes, that is a given. The putting up the tent argument, much like the putting up the Christmas tree argument.

my other one would be: don't forget the earplugs or the wine!

leaveyour kids at home and have wild sleeping bag sex

Socks, lots and lots of socks for the kids. They go through about 3 pairs a day.

Top tip is to take an insulated mug for your cuppa. That way, it'll last at least an hour (crucial when putting the tent up!) and your bedtime cuppa will last well into the night!

freeze a box of white wine before you go. (and then take it with you, obviously)

crocs for everyone, just perfect for camping,with no socks.

Wild sex on holiday my old bones would never handle it, well maybe after the whole box of wine.

my camping tip would be to chill, and accept whatever weather is thrown your way.

sitting around in the evening drinking beer makes me really very cold, even after a hot day. Take a very warm coat and don't get cold before going to bed.
