Comments for Rob and mates:
Thank you, thank you, thank you .. I have never been to a festival before .. gawd knows what made us think it would be such a great idea ..but it was .. that was truly a fabulous weekend. Our mates were shocked we suggested it, and equally delighted with the weekend.
Our 7 and 4 year olds experienced so much that we just can't give them in London in terms of freedom and joining gangs of strangers for impromptu games. What a blast!
Thoughts for next year, although they're not a huge deal they did cross our minds, although I guess you know this:
... it was really difficult to find a pitch (and we were there by 11.45am)
... great atmosphere, but can you ban bagpipes from the tent area
...more toilets. It also might be nice to have a bank of toilets in various places just for the smaller children (say under 8 or 10 year old) just 'cos of their difficulty in 'holding on')
... it was brilliant, so much fun!
... the distance from parking to camping was really quite far when you have small kids and heavy stuff and we were in yellow campsite.
... your security guys were excellent and really helpful.
... it would be nice for the 'Lost Kids' tents to have extra bracelets because they do get broken
... can't wait for next year!
... please don't increase the numbers though, it was the perfect size (although Sunday seemed a little busy though).
