Hi, I am going on a first camping trip with my 8 month old daughter and relatives but there is so much stuff to fit in the car as well as the tent and equipment ie travel cot, highchair, pram/buggy etc. Does anyone know if it is possible to hire baby equipment and if so does anyone have any experiences of this ie is the stuff usually up-to-date and clean . Thanks

No idea about hiring baby equpiment but you can hire roof bars and roof boxes.

Is there anything you can leave behind, for example do you really need to take a high chair and travel cot? If your DD is sleeping in with you then she'd probably be okay on an airbed. Have you phoned the campsite as they may have stuff they can hire you, or know where you can hire it.

you could probably do without the highchair and feed her in the buggy (a cheap stroller doesn't take up much space)

Not sure if you need a travel cot either - we used to just put ours on the blow-up bed in gro bag and blanket as necessary!
