Pity my poor DD who is out on D of E Expedition, in Snowdonia in this weather!

This is her assessed Gold expedition, and it is forecast to pee down for all the trip. They left yesterday and started assessed hike today through Sunday, home Monday.

Her backpack was huge (4 days of food, tent, sleeping bag, clothes etc) so I really hope they pass as it would be awful to have to do it again!

They are climbing Snowdon as part of the route - hope the weather lifts and they can appreciate the view!

Snowdon is often cloudy at the top even on a nice day! My Ds walked all the way up Snowdon and back when he had just turned 4! We did use a lot of packets of starburst though!

hope she can get up the top, they sometimes close the cafe/station if the weather is really bad and turn people back at half way house.

That would add to their fun - having to re-plan a route

Your DS did well at 4! DD is 17, but I would imagine the Starburst could still help.....
