We have it, but haven't taken it out of the bag yet! It's for dd2's birthday for a garden play tent (and possibly a refuge for frazzled mothers).

If it is being sold as a tent then it has to be fit for purpose (ie wont leak) so I imagine for a couple of nights it would be fine. No SIG though....hope your DC like communing with the bugs

I think Chippy has one too.

charliecat · 23/06/2008 17:26

Hmm...do the bugs come in to keep warm?

Slubberdegullion · 23/06/2008 17:35

yes, in your ear hole.

charliecat · 23/06/2008 17:38

OH MY GOD. thats going to echo round my head. Im going to fill them with blutac.

Lucycat · 23/06/2008 17:38

and up your nose

Slubberdegullion · 23/06/2008 17:39

Oh blutack is no use. The ants that come into tents always carry tooth picks to prise out any ear protection.

I've seen 'em. Clever buggers.

Slubberdegullion · 23/06/2008 17:40

and if your wee bucket doesn't have a lid they lurk at the edges with ropes and grappling hooks to gain access to your nethers.

charliecat · 23/06/2008 17:41

Fark me, you know how to put some one off lol Im so ugly ill scare the feckers away.

Lucycat · 23/06/2008 17:42

and then there are the cowboys who will circle your tent as you sleep

charliecat · 23/06/2008 17:43

That sounds good;)

OP posts:
Lucycat · 23/06/2008 17:44

not if they are chasing the bison who is also sleeping in your tent

charliecat · 23/06/2008 17:44

lol

Slubberdegullion · 23/06/2008 17:49

Lucycat that is a bit rude to refer to one of charliecat's DC as a bison.

We have no way of knowing what size they are, or what smell they have for that matter.

Lucycat · 23/06/2008 17:51

no a real one!

or is it a buffalo?......

charliecat · 23/06/2008 17:52

Its bloody me.

OP posts:
charliecat · 23/06/2008 17:53

my nostril hair means you cant tell whether im a bison or a buffalo.

OP posts:
Slubberdegullion · 23/06/2008 17:53

I think they were bisons. Buffalo are what make mozzarella, don't think the native indians did tricolour salads (iirc from 3rd year infants history).

Slubberdegullion · 23/06/2008 17:55

Well charliecat if you have large herbivore-esque ear and nasal foliage you are probably safe from the ants.

The argos tee pee is the tent for you

charliecat · 23/06/2008 18:19

Excellent.Just what I needed to hear

OP posts:
BettySpaghetti · 23/06/2008 18:23

Do you know the difference between a buffalo and a bison?

You can't wash your hands in a buffalo

Slubberdegullion · 23/06/2008 18:25

ha ha ha (not sacastic laughing)

I like it Betty. I'm going to tell the dc that one right now...........

Slubberdegullion · 23/06/2008 18:27

well dd1 laughed.

dd2 asked if there was a pony

BettySpaghetti · 23/06/2008 18:28

charliecat · 24/06/2008 12:55

Helloo, did somebody mention my name?
I have the medium one, it hasn't leaked but water has got in under the door and sides. Something I didn't appreciate was the pole in the middle getting in the way (I know I know!).
