how to keep them warm...obviously a sleeping bag is too big and hot

yes we are camping virgins! Well, DP used to camp when he was a child but i have never been in a tent before. I just read about doing taht to an adult bag, have to say that i was just going to put him in his moses basket with lots of blankets, some socks on his hands and a hat on standby he will prob end up in with me anyway

ds1 is 5 now and ds2 is 3 - god only knows what we will do with them all while we pitch the tent! we have nowhere we can practise!!

we togged our dd in gro-bag type arrangement with sleepsuit and cardi underneath, oh and the mandatory hat just to make her look daft warm
how to keep them quiet? big sponge football (two boys) and a bunch of crayons and colouring books do it for us
to say that dd still occasionally gets the extending dog-lead attached to her reins if we are near water as i do not trust her and now she can run
