HAE SO MANY TENTS AND GEAR THAT I AM THINKING ABOUT RENTING IT OUT!!

We have at last count about 7 tents, 6 cooking rings, the list is endless. I am of a mind to start renting a package out, which I am sure would appeal to people wishing to try camping for the 1st time. I would like peoples thoughts on the following:

a) set it up on a local site and rent already insitu.
b) rent by item
c) rent with or without trailer facility.

any comments would be gratefully received.

For the record I am based in north wales, approx 6 miles north wales side of Chester on the Dee estuary. Should anyone, wish to participate.

However insurance would be massive. Just think if any of the equipment was damaged, how would you recoup the cost?

Yes, insurance would pose problems. But like any outher hire business, a deposit is a must, would sell but would never recoup anywhere near the money shelled out. just wish I had a few thousand for a nice few acres of land.

I am currently coveting this house in Llanystumdwy Many a time have I sat in the cafe across the river and looked at it. Just perfect.

House needs some work but the land, fishing rights and camping fields alongside the river are what you would be buying - trouble is I wouldn't want anyome else to come and stay there [grin[

ah yes the perfect campsite - have planned in every detail down to my organic cakes as welcome gift

you'd be surprised what you get on ebay- we always recoup 75%, which is fair after usage
