Recommendations - family friendly campsites

Looking for recommendations of family friendly sites within approx 3 hours of Leeds. We are a few families with kids age 3-11 between us. Looking at Lake District/Peak District/North Wales and open to other suggestions. We like sites that aren’t rowdy! Ideally the local area would have days out/activities nearby and maybe a park onsite but not a dealbreaker. TIA.

Catgill camping at Bolton Abbey is lovely

Waterside House, near Pooley Bridge on the shores of Ullswater. You have the water, fells behind and a short stroll to Pooley Bridge where you can take the steamer or bus further afield.
They have a kids play park and paddleboards etc for hire if you don't have your own. Also a jetty for swimming we had a fab time there last summer.

Yes, it is lovely - we did a week there last year (should have listed the ones we’ve done!) thanks.

This looks fab but sadly booked up on the dates we need! Adding it to my list for next year though. Thanks

There’s quite a nice one in Castleton - I can’t remember what it’s called.

lovely site, close to waterfalls trail, Ingleton village, if you go in the summer there is a heated Lido in the village as well as a playground. Also have the caves and Yorkshire Dales on your doorstep. Big natural play area on the site, lots of open space for the children to explore.
