Are we strange to have a double sleeping bag?!

Well, it is two singles zipped together.

We are the odd-ones-out amongst our friends. How about you?

We have a double sleeping bag - can be unzipped as two separates but was bought at our request by my parents as a Christmas present as a double. Much more room than a single.

GeoffWode · 15/06/2008 19:44

We have zip-together sleeping bags too. I think we even co-slept with DD once. Much nicer than two separate ones imo.

bigTillyMint · 15/06/2008 19:44

Doesn't separate sleeping bags = no nookie?
Our quota goes up significantly when camping (must be the fresh air!)

lol Tilly at your 'nookie quota' is it the challenge of doing it on an airbed without waking the dc's?

lillypie · 15/06/2008 20:04

We have one too

Mercy · 15/06/2008 20:06

We have 2 singles which we sometimes zip together.

Lucycat · 15/06/2008 20:07

a nookie quota or a double sleeping bag lillypie?

Minum · 15/06/2008 20:09

I used to love our double sleeping bag when we went tent camping but now we've got a campervan, with a double bed with real duvet [blissful emoticon]

I dont think we ever had separate sleeping bags

bohemianbint · 15/06/2008 20:12

We've got one, I much prefer it.

Crystaltipsandalaistar · 15/06/2008 20:24

i ve got one too - more room

serenity · 15/06/2008 20:29

We have an airbed and take our (huge and blissfully warm) kingsize quilt. I just can't deal with sleeping bags - I find them really claustraphobia (I get panic attacks in the sleeping bit of the tent if it's dark enough ) However, if I absolutely had to have a sleeping bag, I'd share a huge one with DH as he radiates heat like a furnace, and i need to put my cold feet on him during the night

serenity · 15/06/2008 20:30

claustraphobic I think I mean there!

snorkle · 15/06/2008 20:30

we have a king size too. They are great! When the dcs were smaller they would both pile in too on occasion (eg mahoosive thunderstorm).

ChairmumMiaow · 15/06/2008 20:56

I guess we have the same argos one as various others. Pre-DS we used to go camping at funny times of year, so we often have a duvet or blanket over the top too.

DH hates not being able to snuggle up to me, but I used to be a wriggler (stopped when I was pregnant and couldn't roll over) so when we had the singles that zipped together I used to rip the zips in the join where the feet bits seperated.

And yes, tent nookie is good fun!

lillypie · 16/06/2008 12:43

Lucycat both!!

PeachyWontLieToYou · 16/06/2008 15:52

Same one as Sal

glad of size as curently sleeps us plus ds4

couldn't imagine 2 singles, supposed to a holiday not a cuddle free retreat!**I do mean cuddle, baby disapproves of intimacy LOL

PeachyWontLieToYou · 16/06/2008 15:53

(and without tent nookie there'd be no ds4 lol)...
