camp beds/ non air beds - where can I get them?

Am 30 wks pregnant and we're going camping in a week. But only if I don't have to sleep on a stupid crappy airbed, because it will just really annoy me. We have a double one, but I think it has a puncture and if it doesn't now it will after my massively pregnant body tries to sleep on it. And don't want DH beign catapulted out of bed every time I roll over.

So I'm after some kind of bed that is raised off the floor but quite rigid and folds. My parents were given some camp beds from a relative in the army and they woudl be totally ideal, but they don't have them anymore. And I can't see them in Go Outdoors.

Can anyone suggest something suitable?

Sorry I can't do links but Ikea do guest beds for £25, we got two and they are fab!

They are not light like traditional camp beds but when you sleep on them it feels like being in your own bed at home yummy!

The traditional lightweight camp beds are sold in GO and also in Argos really cheaply

Ooh, thanks - those guest beds look bloomin comfy! What kind of size do they fold down to?

Hadn't thought of Argos, will check, thanks!

Hmmm....might also have to measure the tent and check what will fit into one of the bedrooms...

It won't fit in the bedrooms and we've got a massive tent.

Folds down well even with mattress inside to a third of it's size when open

I have camped using one of those types of guest beds and even replaced the mattress with my DC's off their bed, best tent sleeps I have ever had .

If you go for a more army type bed, try a selfinflating mattress ontop.

Argos do a few beds. Camp Bed
