Vango orchy 600 vs 6ft 1in husband?!

I am really, really tempted by the vango orchy but will my tall husband fit in? And, if he's not around, will I be able to pitch it on my own (with a bit of practice)?

It is really easy to pitch but you might need someone inside to hold it up at one point.(Actually I have not pitched it on my own but my only involvement when it was pitched was the standing inside bit fo about 30 seconds.)It only took DH 20 minutes to pitch!

Bit sad though as ours has to be exchanged due to some of the mesh in the sleeping pods coming away - but it is a nice tent.

My Dh/ds1 are both about 5 9 so don't don't know how tall it is- the dimensions willbe on the vango website. There is a pitching video on there as well, so perhaps have a look.

We've got an Orchy 600 and the bedrooms are really long, we had 4 of us in it with room at one end to put all of our clothes bags in so good for a tall person to sleep in, bedroom wasn't cramped either, probably couldn't stand up straight in the living area for any length of time as it's not that high. Pretty easy to pitch, as littleshebear says you may need to grab someone to help to help raise the crossed poles if you're on your own, other than that easy peasey! (I hope)

Thank you. I might try and see one pitched somewhere - but I am still very tempted!

All I have to do now is persuade him that he does really want to go camping!
