right. what have I forgotten?

I have

sleeping bags
tent
all blankety stuff
kids clothes
our clothes
cutlery/ crockery/pans/kettle
coffee
brownies
pasta and sauce
sponge bag of stuff

I'm not looking for a definitive packing list - please just shout random stuff out at me to make sure I haven't forgotten it

we have mini hot water bottles for the kids ( they come in 'woolly jumpers')

anyway, where are you going with everything but the kitchen sink? and how long are you camping for? The rest of us can do a recce of our local campsites to see if we can spot 'the worlds most prepared camper and family'!

it is our first time out

I will tell you where we have been when I get back just in case it is a really horrible place and you will laugh at me before I even get there

dh has arrived back home with head torches, which he is obscurely pleased with

they wind up

oh we shall spot you a mile off with the wind up head torches, the family that stops mid way accross the field to go ''squeak, squeak, squeak as you wind them up to see the res of the way back to your tent!

The reason I ask is that DH has called from his mobile to say there is a police escort on the motorway of a small car weighed down with camping gear, pots and pans, fully inflated mattresses tied to the roof and a family pressd up against the window all donning head torches?

just wondered........
