I was intrigued to see that some mums use them for weeing at night - why is it easier than just squatting?!!!

She Pee, surely??

Never used one, but seen it in action at Glastonbury. Rather good.

bigTillyMint · 30/05/2008 10:34

Where did you see it being used, exactly - like a man peeing in the bushes?!

OP posts:
PuppyMonkey · 30/05/2008 10:39

She sort of knelt down to do it very discreetly right outside her tent!

Much better than going to them loos, I tell you.

LynetteScavo · 30/05/2008 10:41

In only clicked on this for a laugh. LINK!!!

bigTillyMint · 30/05/2008 10:42

Yeah, I agree, they are grim there. But on a family campsite, how useful would it be?

spicemonster · 30/05/2008 10:42

I have some. Very useful for outdoor pursuits (going on hikes, skiing etc). And also good for outdoor parties I have found

PuppyMonkey · 30/05/2008 10:44

Family campsite loos would be better I reckon. Link here Lynette...

i feel nauseous

bigTillyMint · 30/05/2008 10:46

On the shhepee sit the woman in the picture is still wearing her knickers

I reckon I would splash all over my hand. [gross]

PuppyMonkey · 30/05/2008 10:59

The woman I saw just looked like she was picking something up at first, you honestly couldn't tell. Great for an emergency though!

bigTillyMint · 30/05/2008 17:05

OK, so who is going to own up to having one, and what are the benefits for family camping?!

OP posts:
quint · 30/05/2008 22:47

DH is threatening to get me one!

Nursejo · 30/05/2008 22:54

A friend of mine bought the Male version for her husband at Christmas for a stocking-filler LOL.She has now bought herself one as she has been on the Lighter Life diet since January and has lost 6 stone, you have to drink 4l of water a day though,so it came in useful in the car when you are stuck in traffic!

bigTillyMint · 31/05/2008 09:34

OMG - that would be a recipe for disaster if it was me LOL!

OP posts:
northernrefugee39 · 31/05/2008 16:36

Oh, amazon... six used and new... who on earth would buy a used one?..

serin · 31/05/2008 22:20

Surely you would still have the problem of where to empty it??

northernrefugee39 · 01/06/2008 10:06

Doesn't it have a hole and go straight through? It's meant to be a girl willy isn't it? Hate the word willy.. what's a better word? (We have girls....)

Slubberdegullion · 01/06/2008 10:09

I'm seriously considering getting one, to use in the tent in conjunction with the dds pottette. Would prevent accidental overbalancing and urine spillage when crouching over the bucket.

bigTillyMint · 01/06/2008 13:01

But what if you just splashed it all over your hands, or worse, mis-aimed it and it didn't all go in the potette! (anyway, wouldn't that be too small to hold an adults bladderful?!!)

OP posts:
Slubberdegullion · 01/06/2008 13:07

Tilly, there would be some practice sessions beforehand.

I reckon a pottette liner could hold an adult bladderfull, of course the liner would give up the ghost before long, and once tied, the bag would definitely be splooshy.

I reckon just so long as you didn't tread on it when you got out of your sleeping bag in the morning it would be fine and dandy.

northernrefugee39 · 01/06/2008 13:07

I just looked at the link on amazon again, and there's no way it could possibly hold a bladderfull bigTilly, you're right there
I can't work out how it wouldn't leak out from the top, it might spray like a hose or something! Or really hurt if you have to jam it hard against your minnie/fanjo.
omg can't believ I'm discussing this.
Has anyone actually used one?
