am off on an adventure - hurrah

am off this weekend for the first time this year. am v excited but hope it doesn't rain. even DH is coming with us. he's never been camping in all his 40 years poor thing and doesn't really get it.
i have all my stuff on the living room floor and have no idea how i managed last year to fit it all in the car.
has the time come to get a trailer/roofbox?

ah roofbox etc very good idea

have you seen the cargo racks on uk campsite (I thinbk)- we have similar, easier storage

roofbox is an easier option than a trailer.

you also have an 'excuse' to shop for all sorts of nifty space saving things like this travel towel!

It opens up a whole new avenue of expendature!

we have something like what people actually do is make up an imaginary friend with sick habits and then try and force him onto the rest of us and demand that we 'respect' him. I'll humour a child and sit somewhere else if they have a pretend friend sitting there, but I won't humour supposedly mature people who should know better. this

as our house is old terraced cottage with no parking or rear access to garden, we needed something we could carry through the narrow corridor
