Camping in North Wales

We are planning to go off camping (our first time) with DD 4.5 We live on the Wirral so were thinking of going to North Wales for a weekend soon.

Any recomendations? We hate other people (well actually we love other people that play with DD).. we just hate LOTS of other people.

We don't need entertainment, but guess I would like a toilet onsite etc.

Any suggestions?

I know a good caravan site which offers you all the peace and quiet you want... Will MSN the details to you.. try ringing them. They may know of somewhere local to them.

(Be careful if you go to a farm )

ooh riverside camping looks lovely.

I've not been but Lucycat always recommends Homefarm on Anglesey.

Apparently they have flowers in the loos

Riverside is a few miles form where i live. It's lovely, I go there sometimes just for the children to play.
Plenty to do around here as well.

About 10-15 mins.
I'll see you in the cafe. Lovely terrace there.

There is also another beach not that far called Dinas it is more rocky but good for shell collecting .
We love Riverside as the children can paddle in the stream and throw stones in there and it is so safe as soon as we get there the children are off playing and making friends.

I can recommend the breakfast in the cafe and the hot chocoalte with marshmallows. I spent a week there last year with the children my husband towed us down on the saturday and then he went home on the sunday and then came back the following weekend and I felt safe and the couple that work there were always on hand to help me if I got stuck with anything .
