Costa Brava Camping - Interpals Eco Resort Pals

Has anyone been to the above campsite in Spain? Tripadvisor reviews are mixed which has made me unsure.

If anyone can reccomend a site in Costa Brava, I'd love to hear :)

We went last year with our 7 year old. Stayed in a tent

Pros: nice pool, easy walk to town and beach. Facilities clean and plenty of them

Cons hilly and dusty and ants everywhere (this was August so unavoidable I guess) the pitches are sandy so just felt permanently dirty
Kids club declared not great by DD (this my have been because very few English speaking kids on site though so she didn't make friends, most people there were Dutch)

We usually stay at French ones and this was a much lower standard all round. It wasn't terrible but we wouldn't go back.

Thanks @Peccary - that's really helpful. So hard to tell what to believe on Tripadvisor. But interesting that you say the standard was much lower than French sites you've been to. We usually camp there too.

We stayed here but it was about 8 years ago. Loved the place back then and couldn’t enough at the time.

Second big up for Cypsela, it’s nicer than InterPals. Much nicer! Great pools, well-run, nice activities like weekly pottery painting. Pals (new bit) is nothing special and thr beach although large is not the best in the area. If you have a car you have the whole area to explore. Beige, nearby is really nice. I think there is a campsite near Castels beach, which is one of my favourite beaches. We’re going back to Cypsela next year.

I second Camping Begur.

@Y2ker that’s so bizarre. I was thinking of Begur the town, in my post. But then I googled Camping Begur and realised I camped there about 22 years ago on my own, way before kids.

Really well-located and quite shady from what I remember; small but perfectly formed.
