Camping in Belgium or nearby?

I have most of the gear (I probably have to fudge a bit but I don’t mind getting a takeaway etc). I now have a car so can move to a decent spot.

I will be solo. Fine, I like the chance to get into nature and will drive home if not going well. Or a local hotel. But have a decent tent and camp bed. And have ability to cook for myself.

bur I would like to get back into nature, with relatively decent facilities (proper shower, proper toilet mostly) somewhere not terribly far from Brussels. I have a car (until mid-August) and need some time out for a manic work year.

any suggestions? thanks all.

I stayed at Camp Bleialf in Germany but practically on the Belgium border
its very peaceful but a proper campsite, with a lovely pool and an English speaking owner
they give you massive pitches and it’s very cheap to stay there
it’s more the location that is fantastic rather than a back to nature vibe but it is bookable through pitch up
