Family camp with Beavers - please help me make a list of what i need to take?

I have bought a tent, sleeping bags and a lamp.
I'm assuming I need plates, mugs, cutlery etc.
But what else please?
All the cooking will be done as a group in the mess tent so I know I don't need a stove. And we're only going for 2 nights.

Any tips greatfully recievd. I have very fond memories of camping as a youngster so i am really really lookign forward to this trip. DH however is dreading it so I'd like to make sure it goes as well as possible (hence having a 100% check list) so that he has no reason to complain!

At our family camp food was done in a hut with table and chairs, crockery, cutlery etc provided so it is probably best to ask what you need. We took chairs so we could read the paper / sit round the camp fire in comfort. A supply of alcohol always a good idea. Torches for the kids to run around the woods in the dark. Family camp was our first trip, we are off by ourselves at half term so we will see how we fare.

surely they should provide you with a list of equipment they will provide?
dd's rainbows are doing a family camp. but they will not be providing anything.

with our we need all sleep stuff
all cutlery
torches
first aid kit
clothes (obvious really, but tis easy to forget undies etc)

altho, am gueesing that if it is beavers it will be close to home and so easy to pop back if you do forget something!

or something along those lines .

You are correct Psychomum5, it isn't far from home but I'd rather not come home if I dont have to. Although DH will probably be glad of the excuse!
He's already bribing me with Starbucks latte delivered hot to my tent door in the morning if he can come home and sleep in his bed

Jumpers, fleeces and blankets. We went last year (end of May) and I was frozen.
Camping mats/ airbed to stop the cold too.
Frisbee was useful.
Loo roll.
Remember to label your cutlery/crockery with something very permanent like nail varnish.
Secret stash of chocolate/biscuits.
