Festival - toilet tent?

Going to a festival in June in a campervan and thinking of taking my own toilet tent and toilet.

Does anyone have any experience of this? A bit concerned that others may use it in preference to the festival loos!

They won’t use it if they don’t know it’s a toilet tent.

I think it would get used by others. I assume you are talking about those individual tent that are obviously a toilet?

I used a toilet tent and just include it in our area and cornden it off with a wind brake. I have been doing this for years and no-one as far as I know has used it.

I think others will use it once they figure out what it is. We've kept a portable toilet in a spare bedroom of a tent before, but of course thus only works if you have spare space!

Thanks for all your thoughts. I think I'll take it but maybe leave the toilet itself in the van when we're not around. It's a very small, family festival so hopefully won't be too wild!

That sounds like a good idea.

When my son was small 4 or 5 he was so disgusted by the loos at festivals that he used to borrow a potty and kick everyone out the tent and just sit in the porch and poo 🤣
