Right, we are going this weekend for first camping trip, come rain or shine...now....

...tell me, what are the absolute essentials that I need to go out and buy tomorrow.

So far we have:

Tent
Sleeping bags
Fleece blankets
Pillows
Plates, bowls, cups, cutlery

That's it! What MUST I get tomorrow at GoOutdoors?

Oh, it was very warm too - no need for hats etc (although some people on teh site were wearing them).

glad you had a good time, so did we in Rutland! I wore my hat in bed, and 3 fleeces on the Sat night - was so clear that it was very cold in the evening.

you might like to consider a fridge rather than a cool box if you have room in the car, we have one that can run off gas (can share the cooker's gas bottle) or electric (useful at home for parties too). They are quite pricey (£130 ish) but I really appreciate ours wjen itis hot!
