Family campsite Lake Garda

Hello all. Any recommendations for a family campsite for a week in August in Lake Garda. We’d like direct lake access, walking distance to a town, public transport links. We the look of Spiaggia d’oro, but the reviews aren’t very good. We’d like a pitch, as we have a campervan. Thanks all.

We went to Bella Italia in June and loved it! We booked through eurocamp, but they had pitches too. Easy walk into Peschiera, but they also have a free (I think - I don't remember having to pay) land train that takes you there.

We stayed in Cisano San Vito in 2023 through euro camp but they also have pitches. Loved Lake Garda, we went back in 2024 but a different site. We also did two days in Verona at the start and two days in Venice at the end. I’d go there again but the kids want a change this year!

Bella Italia would certainly meet your requirements. It is on the lake, has fantastic facilities and is on the outskirts of Peschiera Del Garda. You can catch the bus or water bus to places around the lake, and there is a train station in Peschiera if you want a day out somewhere like Venice. We stayed at the Camper Stop on the edge of Peschiera last summer and explored the lake using Public Transport, but it’s just the two of us now and we don’t need the campsite facilities!
