We have the Vermont L and love it

LovesTents · 21/04/2008 13:16

How many of you are in the L dustystar?

Was thinking of getting the L as I'm afraid that the XL will just be too humongous.

Me and dh plus our children 7 and 9. The only downside is that its only 2 bedrooms and ideally we'd like 3 but the L is pretty huge anyway and I was worried that the XL might be too big.

Have you seen one up yet?

LovesTents · 21/04/2008 13:29

No , haven't seen one, I'm in Ireland and there's not many places to view here unfortunatly

Although there's 5 of us so the extra bedroom would come in handy, but I also reason that they'll fit into the bigger pod in the L and the living space is about the same in the L and the Xl, and also hopefully we'll be outside most of the time anyway.

I love the look of the porch area for cooking and general lounging around , seems pretty perfect to me

The big room is big so plenty of room for 3.

oooh lucky you

the vermont is a lovely tent. are you going to push the boat out and get a carpet too?

LovesTents · 21/04/2008 14:37

No don't think I'll get the carpet,dh will think I've totally lost it then.I'm pushing it at bit a the mo already

The carpets not really worth the money anyway Lovestents. Its a gloriefied picnic blanket and because its so big its a PITA to wash. Get yourself a couple of pcinic blankets instead.

Farb · 21/04/2008 14:58

dusty, but a picnic blanket wont match

Unless outwell have started doing picnic blankets to go with the chairs, windbreaks, kids rooms, rucksacks, sleeping bags, food baskets.......

It's only a matter of time!

Farb · 21/04/2008 15:01

I was given a sunncamp collapsable food basket for my birthday. I am getting lots of compliments when I take it out to buy my newspaper, bagettes and organic pinapples [suggested contents on packaging]

dustystar · 21/04/2008 16:05

The outwell one doesn't really match lol. Tis tarten and my Vermont is green. Plenty of cheapie tarten picnic blankets out there

dustystar · 21/04/2008 16:05
