We're booked in for the Camping & Caravanning Club festival next weekend and wondered if anyone had any tips/recommendations?

I'm starting to get a bit nervous as it seems more geared towards campervans and we'll be in a tent, fingers crossed we won't be trekking for miles in the night to find a loo!

I have been amazing the kids loved it bit loud though for babies and todlers. My child was a bit unsure if they liked it but it was amazing I went last year.

We went two years ago, in a tent, generally we loved it. The activities were great, kids loved the laser tag and canoeing especially. I’m not sure the queue to get in the pool was worth it (quite small & cold), but depends on how much your kids value swimming.

It was a really chilled atmosphere, we took our dog and it was very easy to have her with us.

I have a feeling the food stalls were a bit shambolic/not enough variety but that may have changed.

The only negative (and it was quite a big one) is that we went in an electric hook up area and were pitched very close to a very noisy generator. The other generators on site seemed much quieter than this one, it made it impossible to enjoy time by the tent and sleep was not great. With hindsight I wished we’d asked to move (the family next to us loved it as to them it was just white noise!).

I would definitely go back but the line up of artists hasn’t really been to my liking since.

We always take our own loo for wees, but there were plenty of toilets nearby where we camped.
