I'm looking for some advice / your experiences of camping in a camper van with a baby.

Oue newborn is three weeks old. We obviously aren't planning on going yet, but would be interested to hear thoughts on when it would be suitable to take her and any advice for when we do!

We have a VW camper van, professionally converted with heating etc.

We will weekend in the UK as soon as practical and hope to do longer holidays in Europe from next Spring / Summer.

Just remember to take any medication and keep phone charged incase of emergencies.

We went camping in a tent when our baby was 3 weeks old, made a flask of hot water at night to warm the night feed and early morning feed, in a camper ide probably do the same. But bottle making has changed now, but should still be ok.
Bathed him in the sink in the toilet block. There's often baby changing tables in toilet blocks now too.
This was 28 years ago mind.
You'll have great fun xx

Why not do a practise night at home? It's amazing how much stuff you have to take for such a small person! Our kids where older and we used to go away summer and winter as long as you can keep warm, we also carried a spare electric fan heater incase the main heating failed.
