Hello,

We are hiring a camper van in Naples, Italy and driving through Italy and Switzerland for a few of weeks. We are leaving the end of next week. Does anyone have any recommendations on must haves to take, toys, bits and pieces etc?

Our little one is nearly 2 and loves the outdoors, beach, exploring and drawing activities so have packed things like this so far.

Thank you in advance! 😀

Have you got an Aquadoodle mat? They’re brilliant.

Plan your driving around nap time. We pottered around packing up until time to travel. Include exercise. Drove for a bit with toys, books, looking around. Then morning tea and a few more toys. It all fills up driving time. Then nap time when there is no stopping. After waking, a drink, a bit to eat and stop for the afternoon/evening. Nappy change, decent feed then off out exploring.

Try to do it the same every time as dc do better after a couple of days when they know how things work. Adventure fitting into the routine is a good recipe.
