We're wanting to camp in Northumberland over half term. Anyone have any recommendations?

Will watch with interest as we want to stay on the coast in the summer. Anyone stayed in Seahouses?

There's a site at Beadnell which might be worth looking at. It's only a five minute walk from Beadnell Bay which is a really stunning place. There are some small coves and rock pools right opposite the site.

We stayed at one last August which was in Longframlington. It had a pub on site (doing pub-grub, bingo, kids disco, etc) which was a godsend as it was freezing in the evenings! It was also dog-friendly - had a field to walk them in - but not much barking at night! Toilets / showers were in a proper building - clean and warm (water was hot!). Can't remember the name though! I think it was on UKcampsite

We stayed at the CCC site at Dunstan Hill last summer. Small shop on site, 15-20 minute walk to beach, Dunstanburgh Castle easy walking distance.

Not a site for access to discos/clubs/bars but it it's peace and quiet you're after then pretty good.
